un flusso di aria calda passa sopra una superficie umida, le molecole d&#8217;acqua si trasformano in vapore, provocando l&#8217;<b>evaporazione<\/b>. Pi\u00f9 calda \u00e8 la temperatura e pi\u00f9 secca \u00e8 l&#8217;atmosfera, maggiore \u00e8 l&#8217;effetto. Una ventola di larghezza variabile, a seconda del modello scelto, soffia l&#8217;aria calda dalla stanza attraverso la macchina. Questo contiene un serbatoio d&#8217;acqua (che pu\u00f2 contenere da 135 a 300 litri). L&#8217;aria spinta viene portata a contatto con l&#8217;acqua, facendola raffreddare all&#8217;istante.
