Unlike an air conditioner or air cooler, a fan<\/strong> doesn’t lower the temperature of a room, it simply stirs the air to give an instant sensation of<\/em> freshness.<\/p>

Its efficiency will vary according to its airflow capacity, and the possibility of adjusting the blast and rotation of the device, which can, for example, rotate on itself.<\/p>

Advantages: lower cost, zero ecological impact. Limitations: the sensation of coolness is fleeting and artificial. The air cooler: evaporative technology<\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The air cooler<\/strong> has one major advantage over the fan: it actually cools the temperature of a room, by humidifying the ambient air.<\/p>

This evaporative cooling<\/strong> technique is completely natural: the unit draws in warm air, passes it through a moist pad and then blows it into the room. Unlike an air conditioner, no refrigerant is used to achieve this temperature drop, making it a particularly environmentally-friendly solution, as well as being more economical. <\/p>

The resulting comfort is superior in every way to that provided by a fan, which has no effect on room temperature. The air is actually cooled, not just felt.
