The air cooler uses adiabatic cooling, a method that has been used in hot, dry countries for many decades. This technique exploits the natural properties of water to bring freshness to an interior.<\/p>\n

By passing through a wet heat exchanger, the hot dry air cools by evaporating the water. The heat exchanger is made of an impermeable material derived from cardboard, and not only significantly reduces the heat content of the air, but also humidifies it before it is blown into the rooms by a fan.<\/p>\n

This type of device requires a power supply and a water supply. While the air cooler exploits the properties of water, the industrial air conditioner uses a liquid refrigerant to supply cool air to a room.<\/p>\n

Based on the operating principle of refrigerators, the device captures heat from the air and ejects it outside. The heat capture process rapidly cools the air and thus refreshes the interior of a room.<\/p>\n

The liquid has specific thermal properties, and air conditioner operation is based on its phase change. The transformation is carried out by various components, including the evaporator exchanger, compressor, expansion valve and condenser exchanger.<\/p>\n

For your information, some appliances are reversible, so they can produce cold and heat an interior, like a heat pump, during the winter. However, the primary function of these devices is to cool the ambient air. Air conditioners can be extremely effective at cooling the air in industrial premises. They are perfectly suited to large surfaces and are relatively easy to install, depending on the model.<\/p>\n

However, these devices are expensive and their refrigerant can have a considerable environmental impact if they are poorly maintained. By law, air conditioning systems using refrigerants must be regularly inspected, and in many cases serviced by authorized professionals.<\/p>\n

Air coolers are much less expensive than air conditioners, and like the latter, they can be an excellent solution for cooling the ambient air in large premises.<\/p>\n
