Have you noticed? When the temperature rises, it’s still cooler near water. Why? Simply because water evaporates under the effect of heat. Directly, the air that comes into contact with the evaporated water cools… quite simply. This explains the drop in temperature around the water point.<\/p>\n

For purists, the word “adiabatic<\/strong>” comes from the Greek “adiabatos”, meaning impassable. A technique known as adiabatic technology offers heat impermeability.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

This natural, environmentally-friendly process can, of course, be reproduced. Use a fan to direct the air towards a damp surface, collect the cooled air at the other end of the chain, and you’re done. This is exactly how FOXAIR air coolers<\/strong> work. All they need is a power supply and a water supply (… or not, as FOXAIR appliances have a reservoir).<\/p>\n

In reality, the technique is a little more complex, since it incorporates an exchanger. Taken up by a pump immersed in the reservoir, the water then circulates through the exchanger in question, in which the air also circulates. It comes out fresher and moister.
