Verdunstungsk&uuml;hlung sind eine gemeinsame technologische Familie: die adiabatische K&uuml;hlung. Das physikalische Prinzip ist unver&auml;nderlich. Warme Luft wird mit Wasser in Kontakt gebracht, das verdunstet. Diese &Auml;nderung des Aggregatzustands nimmt W&auml;rmeenergie auf und senkt die Temperatur der Luft.   <\/p><p>Diese Technologie ist eine Alternative zu herk&ouml;mmlichen Klimaanlagen mit einem 6 bis 10 Mal geringeren Energieverbrauch. Die Architektur des Systems &auml;ndert jedoch alles. Auf dem BtoB-Markt gibt es zwei Hauptans&auml;tze: feste adiabatische L&ouml;sungen, die auf dem Dach installiert werden, und mobile adiabatische L&ouml;sungen, die direkt auf dem Boden des behandelten Geb&auml;udes installiert werden. Eine mobile L&ouml;sung, die auf dem Boden im behandelten Raum installiert wird, saugt die Innenluft des Geb&auml;udes an. Dieser Unterschied mag zweitrangig erscheinen. Er bestimmt jedoch den Gro&szlig;teil der tats&auml;chlichen Effizienz.   <\/p><p>Bei einer festen Dachinstallation ist die angesaugte Au&szlig;enluft w&auml;hrend einer Hitzeperiode die hei&szlig;este verf&uuml;gbare Luft. Es gibt keine Schattenbereiche, keinen Schutz und keinen thermischen Maskeneffekt. Die Anlage muss also eine 35, 38 oder 40 &deg;C warme Ausgangsluft abk&uuml;hlen, um frische Luft f&uuml;r das Geb&auml;ude zu erzeugen. Die Leistung h&auml;ngt vollst&auml;ndig von der Differenz zwischen Au&szlig;entemperatur und Taupunkttemperatur ab.   <\/p><p>Bei einer mobilen Bodenanlage saugt das Ger&auml;t die bereits im Geb&auml;ude vorhandene Luft an, die durch den W&auml;rmeeffekt der W&auml;nde und des Bodens k&uuml;hler als die Au&szlig;enluft ist. Wenn die Maschine den behandelten Bereich k&uuml;hlt, wird die angesaugte Luft selbst nach und nach k&uuml;hler. Das System ger&auml;t in einen positiven Kreislauf: Je mehr der Bereich gek&uuml;hlt wird, desto k&uuml;hler ist die angesaugte Luft und desto besser wird die Leistung.  <\/p><p>Dieser Unterschied erkl&auml;rt, warum ein mobiler adiabatischer Industriek&uuml;hler nach etwa 90 Minuten seinen optimalen Betriebszustand erreicht, mit allm&auml;hlichen und anhaltenden Temperaturgewinnen. Warme Luft steigt auf, k&uuml;hle Luft sinkt ab. So entsteht das, was Thermiker eine &bdquo;W&auml;rmematratze&ldquo; nennen: eine sehr warme Luftschicht, die sich im oberen Teil des Geb&auml;udes, oft in einer H&ouml;he von 6 bis 10 Metern, speichert.  <\/p><p>Diese W&auml;rmematratze hat keinen betrieblichen Nutzen. Die Bediener arbeiten unten, die Maschinen produzieren unten, die Arbeitspl&auml;tze sind unten. Hei&szlig;e Luft in der H&ouml;he ist ein thermischer Abfall.  <\/p><p>Eine fest installierte L&ouml;sung im Dach verteilt die Frischluft von oben &uuml;ber Kan&auml;le oder eine Sch&uuml;ttgutverteilung. Sie muss also zuerst das W&auml;rmepolster &bdquo;angreifen&ldquo;, bevor die frische Luft zu den Nutzbereichen absinken kann. Das Ergebnis: Die Zeit, die ben&ouml;tigt wird, um die Temperatur an den Arbeitspl&auml;tzen zu senken, &uuml;bersteigt oft die Dauer eines ganzen Arbeitstages.  <\/p><p>Eine mobile Bodenl&ouml;sung hingegen verteilt die Luft direkt auf die Ebene der Mitarbeiter. Die frische Luft kommt dort an, wo sie gebraucht wird. Die Abk&uuml;hlzeit betr&auml;gt ca. 90 Minuten, so dass die L&ouml;sung auch f&uuml;r Fr&uuml;hschichtarbeiter geeignet ist.  <\/p><p>Dieser Unterschied in der Zeit, in der die Temperatur absinkt, ist das zweite Kriterium, das die Leistungsunterschiede erkl&auml;rt, die in der Praxis beobachtet wurden.
